Reasons and Solutions for Excessive Oil Temperature of Hydraulic

In the hydraulic system, the fact that the oil temperature of the hydraulic gear pump is too high is a normal phenomenon, which can be solved. First of all, we must find out what causes it to be repaired and prevented. Generally speaking, there are nine reasons why the temperature of the hydraulic gear pump is too high:

1.The accuracy of components is not enough and the assembly quality is poor, and the mechanical friction loss between relative motion is large.

2.The quantitative pump fuel supply system, which chooses the capacity of the oil pump according to the fast-forward speed, will have most of the excess flow returned from the relief valve under high pressure and heat up.

3.The working pressure adjustment of hydraulic oil pump is much higher than the actual need. Sometimes the pressure has to be adjusted to work because the seal is too tight, or because the seal is damaged and the leakage increases.

4.The improper choice of oil viscosity, high viscosity resistance, too small viscosity will increase leakage, both of which can cause heating temperature rise.

5.The fit clearance of fittings is too small, or after wear and tear, the clearance is too large, the leakage of internal and external is too large, resulting in large volume loss, such as the volume efficiency of the pump is reduced, and the temperature rises quickly.

6.The high temperature of climate and working environment results in the increase of oil temperature.

7.The fuel tank is too small, the heat dissipation area is insufficient, the oil cooling device is not installed, or the capacity of the fuel tank is too small although there is a cooling device.

8.The unloading circuit in the system fails or the oil pump can not unload when the unloading circuit is not set up. The total flow of the pump overflows under high pressure, resulting in overflow loss and heat, leading to temperature rise.

9.The system pipeline is too thin and long, too bending, local pressure loss and pressure loss along the way are large.


The following are ways to solve the problem:

1.Improve the lubrication condition of the moving parts to reduce friction loss, which is conducive to reducing workload and fever.

2.Improve the assembly quality and Self-precision of hydraulic components and pumps, strictly control the mating clearance of fittings and improve lubrication conditions. The sealing material with small friction coefficient and improved sealing structure are used to reduce the starting power of hydraulic cylinder as much as possible so as to reduce the heat generated by mechanical friction loss.

3. Adding or strengthening cooling capacity when necessary.

4.According to different load requirements, check and adjust the pressure of relief valve regularly to make it appropriate.

5.Reasonable selection of hydraulic oil, especially the oil viscosity, in the case of conditions permitting, try to use a lower viscosity to reduce the loss of viscosity and friction.
