Hydraulic Control Valve
All About of Hydraulic Control Valves
Hydraulic control valves are components used in hydraulic transmissions to control fluid pressure, flow and direction. So there are three kinds of hydraulic control valves, pressure control valves, flow control valves and directional control valves.
Pressure Control Valve
The pressure control valve is divided into relief valves, pressure reducing valves and sequence valves according to the purpose. The relief valve controls the hydraulic system to maintain a constant state when the set pressure is reached. The relief valve for overload protection is called a safety valve. When the system fails and the pressure rises to a limit that may cause damage, the valve port will open and overflow to ensure the safety of the system. The pressure reducing valve can control the branch circuit to obtain a stable pressure lower than the main circuit oil pressure. The pressure reducing valve has different pressure functions controlled by it, and can be divided into fixed value pressure reducing valve, differential pressure reducing valve and proportional pressure reducing valve. The sequence valve enables an actuator (such as a hydraulic cylinder, a hydraulic motor, etc.) to operate, and then causes other actuators to operate in sequence.
Flow Control Valve
The flow control valve regulates the flow rate by adjusting the orifice area between the spool and the valve body and the local resistance generated by the valve body, thereby controlling the moving speed of the actuator. The flow control valve is divided into throttle valves, speed regulating valves, diverter valves, collecting valves and diverting collecting valves according to the usage. After adjusting the throttle orifice area, the throttle valve can make the load pressure change little and the movement speed of the actuator element with low uniformity requirement basically remain stable. The speed regulating valve can maintain the constant pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the throttle valve when the load pressure changes. Thus, after the orifice area is set, regardless of the load pressure, the speed control valve can maintain the flow rate through the throttle valve, thereby stabilizing the moving speed of the actuator. The diverter valve is an equal-number diverter or synchronizing valve that allows equal flow of the two actuators of the same oil source regardless of the size of the load. A proportional split valve is obtained that distributes the flow proportionally. The function of the collecting valve is opposite to that of the diverter valve, so that the flow into the collector valve is proportionally distributed. The final split flow manifold has both a split valve and a header.
Directional Control Valves
The directional control valves are divided into check valves and reversing valves according to the purpose. The check valve only allows the fluid to be unidirectionally connected in the pipe, and the reverse is cut off. The reversing valve can change the on-off relationship between different pipelines, according to the working position of the valve core in the valve body, two digits, three digits, etc. According to the number of channels controlled, they are divided into two-way, three-way, four-way, Five-way, etc. According to the spool drive mode, they are divided into manual, motorized, electric, hydraulic, etc.
